Hem Sarita Pathak foundation is non-profit organization in the United States of America in 2010, for accomplishment of our binary missions of poverty and illiteracy minimization and reduction of evident corruption in Nepal, we have been functioning in three folds. First, we offer monetary rewards to those who have shown conviction in raising voices against corruption to the general mass either through journalism, music and literature; the monetary rewards are $3000 for journalism, $2000 for music and $1000 for literature. Second, we honor those who have shown honesty and dedication in their respective works in the departments of Politics, Nepal Police, Administration and Justice in Nepal with a “Clean Citizen Recognition” award to each. The best candidates for monetary rewards and recognition awards are chosen on a survey and poll basis which are then decided by a panel of judges. These rewards and awards are delivered not only to promote people who have been working morally and ethically, but also to encourage other people to exhibit honesty and responsibility in their works as part of their moral obligation to the nation. Third, with a belief that empowered youths are the core ingredient for the better future, we currently support 225 children (except the locals) from across the nation at Ugra-Tara Secondary School located at Ghumarchowk, Sankhu, Kathmandu while also extending the school to higher secondary level. In the future, we are planning to formulate anti-corruption curriculum and produce anti-corruption films in order to make our movement more effective.
